Asbestos Management Plan (Elaboration)
The SOLAS Regulations demand an up to date Asbestos Management Plan for a workplace where asbestos or asbestos-containing material (ACM) have been identified.
The main goal of the Asbestos Management Plan is to reduce exposure of asbestos fibers for passengers, crew, personnel in port, etc. by effective management of asbestos including material from the moment it was identified until the moment it is removed.
The Asbestos Management Plan focuses on prerequisites to avoid ACM fibers to be released.

Biofouling Management Plan (Elaboration)
This ship-specific Plan is prepared in accordance with IMO’s “2011 Guidelines for the Control and Management of Ships’ Biofouling to Minimize the Transfer of Invasive Aquatic Species” (Res. MEPC.207(62)) and the US Ballast Water Management Rule, 33 CFR 151.2050(g), and includes provision for a Biofouling Record Book to be kept onboard.
All vessels carrying ballast water and operating in US waters after 5 November 2012.
An approval by the Administration is not mandatory. However, the Biofouling Record Book should be available for inspection by the Port State Control Officers.

Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (Elaboration)
Regulation 37 of MARPOL Annex I, as amended by Resolution MEPC 117(52) adopted on 15 October 2004, requires every oil tanker of 150 GT and above and every ship other than an oil tanker of 400 GT and above to carry an oil pollution emergency plan approved by the Administration.
The shipboard oil pollution emergency plan is prepared in compliance with the above requirement. The purpose of this plan is to provide the expert guidance on the action that need to be followed if an oil spill occurs or is threatened, whether from routine operations or after a major incident such as a collision, fire or explosion. The model plan is based on the guidelines issued by IMO in resolution MEPC 54(32) and amended by MEPC 86(44).

Regulation 15 of MARPOL Annex VI as revised by IMO Resolution MEPC.176 (58) , requires that every crude oil carrier is obliged to be equipped with a VOC Management Plan. Scope of this plan is to provide guidance on the management of Volatile Organic Compounds. Plan is developed in line with IMO Legislation. An approval on behalf of the Administration in accordance with IMO resolution MEPC.185 (59) is mandatory.

PCSOPEP
The purpose of the PCSOPEP is to provide guidance to the Master and officers onboard the ship with respect to the actions to be followed for the prevention and response when an oil pollution incident has occurred or is likely to occur for vessels entering the Panama Canal.
The provisions in this document apply to toll-paying vessels that transit the Panama Canal with a carrying capacity of 400 metric tons or more of oil as cargo and/or fuel. Requires Approval by Panama or on behalf of the Panama Administration is mandatory.
Ballast Water Management Plan
This Plan is provided in accordance with the requirements of Regulation B-1 of the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship’s Ballast Water and Sediments, 2004 (BWM Convention) and the Guidelines for Ballast Water Management and the Development of Ballast Water Management Plans, Res. MEPC.127(53). The purpose of this Plan is to provide procedures and guidance to the vessel’s Master and crew with respect to Ballast Water Management and includes detailed, ship-specific Ballast Water Exchange procedures and training, communication and recording requirements related to Ballast Water Management onboard. All vessels carrying ballast water as may be required by the States whose Ports the ship visits and / or as may be required by relevant Class Rules (based on Class Notation). An approval on behalf of the Administration / Classification Society is mandatory.
Mooring System & Line Management Plan
The new Guidelines regarding Mooring Equipment issued by OCIMF in summer 2018 under the title MEG 4 (Mooring Equipment Guidelines Fourth Edition). This a complete new and revised edition compared with MEG3. Detail instructions and guidance cover all aspects of mooring arrangements’ (permanent or not), equipment design, load calculations, selection – inspection-maintenance-retirement of lines and operational issues for mooring. The new guidelines require each vessel to have an adequate Mooring System Management Plan and a Line Management Plan
Mooring System Management Plan
The scope of MSMP is to help operators ensure the mooring system is inspected, maintained and operated, in accordance with the original design basis. The MSMP along with the required Mooring System Management Plan Register is to accompany vessel throughout all her operational lifecycle.
